To answer your questions there is no real “limit” as to the number of wires but I would not recommend hooking any up to your stereo harness for power take it to the fuse block instead and ground your grounds to some part of the cars metal.

It doesnt matter if you have 1 wire or wires tapped onto it its the current that limits you. Its your money, you car, and your life to do with what you want but your car stereo wire is probably only around an 18 gauge wire which is the equivelant of practically nothing in current carrying capacity.
